The New Mission Statement for Lipscomb University
Lipscomb University is a private coeducational institution whose principal focus is becoming a household name outside of Davidson County. Its primary mission is to attain recognition through athletic excellence. This mission is carried out by securing multimillion dollar donations from donors which may possibly lead to the attraction of NCAA Division One-caliber recruits and by making those outside our fellowship feel spiritually inferior.
